Portable Architecture

Environmentally Sensitive Furniture-Architecture

An environmentally sensitive, flexible and reusable piece of experimental portable architecture that crosses the boundaries between furniture, sculpture and architecture.

The work responds to a brief on portable architecture set by Professor Robert Kronenburg for residency workshops at Domaine de Boisbuchet. Domaine de Boisbuchet was a collaboration with the Centre Georges Pompidou and Vitra Design Museum. Set in rural France it offered a series of summer workshops run by internationally recognised artists, designers and architects
